The World Credit Union Conference is almost here

I hope to see many of you in Boston for what’s sure to be an incredible event, the 2024 World Credit Union Council Conference. It kicks off Sunday, and I’m excited to celebrate the international power of the credit union difference with thousands of attendees from around the world.

The largest global credit union event is about showcasing the power of the credit union difference, and how international credit union advocacy is key to a better future for the movement and its members.

Just last month a Ukrainian credit union issued the first ever credit union loan to a business in Ukraine, the result of long-term advocacy from the World Council of Credit Unions to change outdated Ukrainian law. Now businesses in Ukraine have another resource available to recover from Russia’s devastating invasion.

The credit union movement is truly a global one, and I’m excited to spend next week exploring the many ways credit unions can continue to change lives.
