Workers Credit Union is pleased to welcome Ellie Fordyce as Chief People Officer. Fordyce brings a deep expertise in organizational effectiveness, workforce strategies, leadership development and organizational design. In this role, she will focus on strategic development of employee programs and engagement.

With more than 16 years of experience in credit union human resources, Fordyce has a proven track record of defining and implementing performance and process improvements to motivate cohesive teams. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Westerra Credit Union in Denver, Colorado, where she led the successful implementation of culture change initiatives while embracing the credit union’s business and financial objectives.
“Workers has a wealth of strong talent within our 15 branches and headquarters,” says Fordyce. “I am thrilled to begin supporting the Workers team achieve our business outcomes with a focus on people, culture, and engagement.”
Fordyce earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from University of Colorado, Boulder, where she studied people and culture. She then went on to earn a master’s degree in Organization Development and Change from Penn State.
In her free time, Fordyce enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and volunteering with her therapy dog, Fiona, at a local library.
