Effective immediately, Wescom Credit Union has rebranded to Wescom Financial to better represent its robust range of products and services — including banking, investments, and insurance — to help more Californians build better financial lives.
“We want to grow within our communities so more Californians can bank better and have access to better rates, better digital tools, and all the products and services you would expect from a bank – but better,” stated Ashley White, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at Wescom Financial. “We’re still guided by the same core values that have distinguished us as one of the nation’s leading credit unions for over 90 years. Our new name puts our full range of financial solutions and member support at the forefront.”
Wescom Financial is a full-service banking partner, offering insurance, investment options (offered through CUSO Financial Services), and a full array of personalized banking solutions to help Californians thrive with better rates, lower fees and cutting-edge digital tools. These include:

The last rebrand occurred in 1996 when Wescom changed its name from Telephone Employees Credit Union to Wescom Credit Union. Since then, Wescom expanded its charter from serving telephone employees to serving the community at large. Wescom is also rolling out a new tagline, “Bank Better,” to further reinforce its commitment to being a better financial option for Californians.
The Wescom Financial rebranding is rolling out over the course of the year in branches and signage and is reflected immediately on the website and remote banking channels. For more information on Wescom’s branding update, please visit https://www.wescom.org/wf-update.
