Valley Strong Credit Union, in dedication to helping Members, announced the initiation of its Disaster Relief Loan for those impacted by the Borel Wildfire. The loan program is for affected Members living in the impacted zip codes of 93285, 93240, 93283, and 93518 and includes a 0% interest rate for up to 27 months.
The Disaster Relief Loan Program is a specialized product designed to aid those impacted by various natural disasters and can be instituted by the Credit Union when necessary. Valley Strong loans are offered with the following terms (all borrowers are subject to qualification, underwriting approval, lender terms and conditions):
· Up to $2,500 loan amount
· 0% Interest
· Up to 27-month repayment term
· No payments for first 90 days
· Must be a current Valley Strong Member
“At Valley Strong, we understand the immediate need for our Members affected by the Borel Wildfire,” said Nick Ambrosini, President and CEO “The Disaster Relief Loan Program is our way of providing stability and assistance for our Members. Valley Strong will also be donating $5,000 to both the Kern County Red Cross and the United Way to help anyone impacted by the wildfire.”
