United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) has appointed Shawn Sullivan to the position of mortgage advisor. He will be headquartered at one of the credit union’s Reno branches at 1170 Bible Way, Reno, Nev.
Sullivan has more than 25 years of experience in the financial service industry maximizing new business opportunities, retaining and expanding his account base and achieving consistently ambitious goals. He will use his expertise to provide helpful and complete real estate lending expertise to Members through financial counseling and product awareness and generate quality mortgage loans.
Prior to this role at UFCU, he served as financial center loan officer at Bank of America since June 2015; as a loan agent from 2009 to 2015 at Donna Joe, Inc., North American Funding, and Alpine Mortgage; then he was a wholesale account executive at Washington Mutual (2006-2007) and Alternative Mortgage Express (2005-2006) and The Mortgage Store (2005); and served as a loan agent from 1997 to 2004 at CitiFirst Financial, North First Mortgage and Excel Mortgage.
He is a member of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors and has a real estate license from the State of California Department of Real Estate.
