United Federal Credit Union named one of the 2024 Best Credit Unions to Work For
ST. JOSEPH, MI (August 26, 2024) — United Federal Credit Union (United) was recently named one of the 2024 Best Credit Unions to Work For. This annual program was created to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers on workplace culture and business influence.

Credit unions from across the United States entered the two-part survey process to determine Best Credit Unions to Work For. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated credit union’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.
The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top credit unions and final rankings.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings. To be considered, participants had to be a credit union, have at least 15 eligible employees and be in business a minimum of one year. Winners will be recognized by American Banker.

This is the second major workplace award United has received in 2024. In June, United was recognized as one of the Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces in North America by The Inspiring Workplaces Group.
