Global Credit Union Gives the Gift of Joy
Spokane, Wash.- With Christmas just a few days away, Global Credit Union is pleased to announce that stateside branches have collected $169.80 in monetary donations and more than 850 toys for the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program.
Kids in need will be unwrapping new games, cars, dolls, stuffed animals, crafts and much more on Christmas morning this year.
Members were eager to donate and the Christmas spirit was apparent. One Global Credit Union member brought in 23 stuffed animals, as displayed in the photo of our Shadle branch lobby below.
The staff of Global Credit Union also encouraged donations from members and employees by participating in an internal contest to see which department and branch could generate the most toy donations. After collecting the total toy count, lending services and special credits were the winners of the contest.
Global Credit Union is proud to make the holidays magical for kids in need. Each year so many children miss out on the tradition of opening gifts and experiencing the joy Christmas has to offer. Global Credit Union would like to thank its members, staff and anyone else who contributed to the Toys for Tots program this year.
