After a nationwide search, the Board of Directors has chosen Thomas Kevin Miller as President and Chief Executive Officer of Travis Credit Union (TCU), starting April 13th, 2022. The Board followed the succession plan to ensure an orderly process for executive leadership transition. TCU's Board of Directors are elected by the membership and give their time and experience to ensure the organization meets the needs of its members and the community.
“Kevin excelled among a very strong pool of candidates and has demonstrated a solid vision for the future of TCU,” said Deborah Aspling, Board Chair. “Over the past six months, the Board worked with an outside consultant in assessing the current and future needs of Travis Credit Union. I am proud to say that Travis Credit Union’s reputation of changing lives and lifting communities through financial wellness inspired so many wonderfully gifted people to apply to lead our organization. We explored the impact of our Awesome Cause, the evolving needs of our membership, and the needs of our staff as we considered the leadership needed to navigate through the challenges that lay ahead.”
Kevin is an accomplished senior executive who brings more than eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry with innovative digital and financial initiatives, designed to empower the underserved to improve their financial wellbeing. Throughout his career, he has developed a solid record of leading teams to deliver tangible impact for our communities. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Global Retail Marketing Association and volunteers with nonprofits focused on entrepreneurship and community development. He holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.
