DAVENPORT, IA (June 3, 2024) — The Family Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving those in the Quad Cities area, launched a newly revamped Family Sponsored Summer program to support local non-profit organizations. Formerly known as Discount Days, Family Sponsored Summer gives all members of the community an opportunity to visit Quad City attractions at a greatly discounted admission rate and now provides more flexibility in the times people can attend.
The following Quad City nonprofit attractions are participating in the program this year:
“Here at The Family, we are committed to supporting our local nonprofits on both the Iowa and Illinois sides of the river,” said Abigail Eaton, Financial Wellness Coordinator of The Family Credit Union. “With the rebrand, more of our community and families can take advantage of visiting these participating attractions at an affordable rate.”

The Family Credit Union provides relevant financial products and services to encourage the lifelong success of its members. The credit union was originally founded in 1935 as the Kohrs Credit Union. The name changed to Oscar Mayer Credit Union after the Oscar Mayer Company purchased Kohrs. It is currently headquartered in Davenport, Iowa and serves members in Perry, Eastern Iowa, Eastern Nebraska and Western Illinois.
