The Teachers Credit Union Foundation announced today the award of $10,000 in scholarship grants for students at five Elkhart County high schools. The grants support the mission of the TCU Foundation whose focus includes financial literacy, high impact educational programs and scholarships within communities TCU serves.
SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS:
- $2,000 to Baugo Community Schools Merit Scholarship Program for Jimtown High
- $2,000 to Concord High for its Dollars for Scholars program
- $2,000 to Elkhart Central High for its Dollars for Scholars program
- $2,000 to Elkhart Memorial High for its Dollars for Scholars program
- $2,000 to Goshen High for its Dollars for Scholars program
“Since 2004, Teachers Credit Union Foundation has granted $101,000 in scholarships to students in Elkhart County,” said Angie Dvorak with the TCU Foundation. “TCU is pleased to provide these scholarships to help area students offset their college expenses. We know that by investing in today’s students we’re helping develop our future leaders.”
The TCU Foundation is a charitable arm of Teachers Credit Union, Indiana’s largest credit union. Elkhart-area TCU Service Center locations include 201 County Road 6 West, 4574 Elkhart Road, 2930 S. Nappanee Street, and inside Martin’s Super Markets at 3900 E. Bristol Street and 1527 Bashor Road in Goshen.
