TCU Board appoints new member and elects officers

SOUTH BEND, IN (May 10, 2019) — David P. Aranowski, Managing Partner with Aranowski & Company, CPAs and Business Advisors, has been appointed to the Teachers Credit Union Board of Directors. A new slate of officers also has been elected: Vincent Henderson, Chair; Thea Kelly, Vice Chair; John Myers, Secretary; and Paul A. Marsh, TCU’s President and Chief Executive Officer since 2011 continues as Treasurer.

Aranowski also serves on the Board of Directors of Families First Center in South Bend and is an adjunct accounting instructor at Indiana University South Bend. The Indiana University graduate has served on TCU’s Supervisory Committee since 2013.

“David embodies the spirit of community that we value on our board,” Marsh said. “His talent and energy will serve TCU with distinction.”

Greg Freehauf, Chief Financial Officer at Martin’s Super Markets, was named to theSupervisory Committee.A graduate of Manchester College, Freehauf previously worked for Price Waterhouse and served as chief operating officer and general manager at Lock Joint Tube.

TCU Board Chair Vincent Henderson is President at Beacon Medical Group in South Bend. A family medicine specialist, the graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine has been practicing for over 30 years.

Vice Chair Thea Kelly, Assistant General Counsel at Cummins Inc., previously served as Senior Counsel with Dow Chemical Company/Dow AgroSciences. A graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Kelly also worked as a Tax and Bond Associate with Ice Miller LLP.

Secretary John Myers, a Purdue University graduate, retired as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Bethel University in 2010. Previously he served as Vice President and Controller for a financial institution.
