Credit Union National Association (CUNA) today announced Jason Stverak is joining the advocacy team as the Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Federal Government Affairs. Stverak will help lead an all-of-government approach to implementing the credit union system’s 360-degree advocacy strategy.
“We’re thrilled to have Jason join us. He brings tremendous value to CUNA and will be an asset to all areas of our advocacy team,” said Ryan Donovan, CUNA Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer. “Jason understands that policy must be approached from all angles and I’m confident that he will develop successful strategies to ensure the CUNA/League system remains the strongest advocate for America’s credit unions.”
Prior to joining CUNA, Stverak served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND). His professional background includes extensive experience in communications, political affairs, and public policy. Stverak also served as the President and CEO of the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity.
