Silver State Schools Credit Union People Over Profit Foundation announces 2025 scholarship program available to college bound Nevada high school seniors

Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU) is now accepting applications for the 2025 People Over Profit (POP) Foundation Scholarships for Nevada High School Seniors. Since 1989, more than $1,300,000 in scholarships have been awarded to outstanding Southern Nevada students to pay tuition in higher education.

The POP Foundation Scholarship Program recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Each year, ten (10) recipients receive a renewable $2,000 scholarship for four years, up to $8,000 total. Eight of the ten scholarships are merit based, one is need-based, and another is reserved for a future teacher.

The scholarship program is designed for SSSCU members graduating from an accredited high school within the State of Nevada in 2025. All Nevada residents can become a member at SSSCU, thereby becoming eligible for this valuable scholarship opportunity.
