River City Federal Credit Union strengthens support for YWCA with $25,000 pledge
San Antonio-based credit union to provide financial assistance, educational programs, and event sponsorships
SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 2, 2023) — River City Federal Credit Union is proud to announce it is renewing its financial commitment to support the San Antonio YWCA, increasing its funding to $25,000.
As a longstanding advocate for community development, River City Federal Credit Union reaffirms its dedication to fostering a prosperous future for all residents of San Antonio, irrespective of their backgrounds. “River City Federal Credit Union has always prioritized the well-being of our community,” states Jeff Ivey, CEO of River City Federal Credit Union. “This strengthened partnership signifies our unwavering commitment to empowering every individual in San Antonio to achieve financial stability and success.”

In addition to financial support, the credit union is proud to partner with YWCA at the Mexican Consulate assisting with financial education and literacy classes offered there. It will also continue to sponsor the Annual Women of Influence Luncheon, underscoring its commitment to empowering women within the region.
The credit union showcases its promise to support those in the community through values aligning with the YWCA such as offering a range of free classes and resources to promote financial empowerment. These include budgeting workshops, credit-building seminars, homeownership education, and small business development courses.
