Wilmington, NC (August 8, 2024) |
REV Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its continued support for local nonprofits through REV Rocks Concert Series at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. This initiative allows concertgoers to learn about and support various charitable organizations making a difference in the community.
As part of this year’s concert series REV has hosted several nonprofits under the gold #UpTheGood tent, including Coastal BUDS, Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area, Nourish NC, ACCESS of Wilmington, The Children’s Museum of Wilmington, Operation Pretty Things, Smart Start of New Hanover County, and more! These organizations were given the opportunity to share their mission and work with the concert audience, fostering greater awareness and community involvement.
“At REV, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us,” said Dori Bishara, Community Engagement Coordinator at REV Federal Credit Union. “Hosting these incredible nonprofits at the REV Rocks Concert Series is just one way we can help amplify their voices and support their missions.”
Concertgoers have responded enthusiastically, engaging with the nonprofits and showing their support through donations and volunteer sign-ups. The presence of these organizations at the concert series not only raises awareness but also strengthens the community by encouraging civic participation and support for local causes.
The REV Rocks Concert Series at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater is a staple event, attracting music lovers and community supporters alike. REV Federal Credit Union remains committed to leveraging this platform to spotlight and support the invaluable work of local nonprofits. Upcoming shows will feature more nonprofits including paws4people on Sunday, August 11th where concertgoers can interact with the service dogs in training and Plastic Ocean Project on Friday, August 30th where REV is co-hosting a Greenfield Lake Park clean-up with P.O.P. prior to the concert that evening.
