Reliant Credit Union donates $25,000 to Wilmot Cancer Institute

Reliant Credit Union recently donated $25,000 to Wilmot Cancer Institute, emphasizing Reliant's commitment to making a positive impact in the areas it serves. The check presentation took place on Thursday, March 21, at Wilmot Cancer Institute.

“We are honored to support Wilmot Cancer Institute in their mission to provide exceptional care to individuals battling cancer. At Reliant, we believe in the power of community and are committed to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” said Pamela Heald, Reliant’s President & CEO. “We hope this contribution will help bring comfort to patients and those who are there to support them as they undergo treatment at Wilmot.”

Ms. Heald was joined by credit union staff in presenting the donation to representatives from Wilmot Cancer Institute. The contribution will aid in the purchase of additional infusion chairs for cancer patients at their research infusion center.

“We are tremendously grateful for this support from Reliant Credit Union. This gift will help us purchase new chairs for our infusion center, helping to bring comfort to many cancer patients going through treatment in the coming months,” stated KC Clevenger, Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Chief Nursing Officer. “The group’s willingness to support others in the community, especially those impacted by cancer, is inspiring. All of us at Wilmot offer our appreciation.”
