Red Rocks Credit Union annouces partnership with Arrupe Jesuit High School for Corporate Work Study Program

LITTLETON, CO (September 3, 2024) — Red Rocks Credit Union is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Arrupe Jesuit High School, supporting their Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). This initiative will see four students joining Red Rocks CU for the next nine months, where they will engage in various projects and gain hands-on experience within the credit union’s member advocacy teams.

This collaboration is a testament to Red Rocks Credit Union’s commitment to community engagement and developing future talent. Through the CWSP, Red Rocks CU aims to cultivate a pipeline of skilled candidates for its frontline positions. By providing these students with real-world experience and professional training, Red Rocks Credit Union is investing in the development of a dedicated and prepared workforce.

“At Red Rocks Credit Union, we are dedicated to Enriching LivesTM and fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” said Darius Wise, President and CEO of Red Rocks Credit Union. “This partnership with Arrupe Jesuit High School aligns perfectly with our purpose to offer trusted support, tailored solutions, and unparalleled service over a lifetime. We are excited to welcome these students and support their growth.”

The Corporate Work Study Program at Arrupe Jesuit High School plays a crucial role in providing students with entry-level office roles in fields such as banking, law, medicine, and finance. Celebrating 20 years of operation, the CWSP not only delivers a college-prep education to underserved students but also offers partner organizations like Red Rocks CU a cost-effective solution to building a future pipeline for entry-level positions and having a positive impact in the community.

“Partners like Red Rocks Credit Union provide our students with invaluable experience in the workplace, preparing them to have immediate success and exposing them to careers they may not have encountered previously,” said Chad Cookingham, Executive Director of Corporate Work Study.

By participating in the CWSP, Red Rocks CU is not only enriching the lives of the students but also contributing to the overall economic vitality of the community.
