Purdue Federal Rewards Savings Sleuths

WEST LAFAYETTTE, IN (May 23, 2013) By teaching kids how to save for their goals, they’ll have learned an important skill by the time they’re teens—consistent saving. Aria D., Alexia D., Elias D., Maxwell M., Shriya N., Eric S. and Brandon T. were recently honored as Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) Savings Sleuths and each rewarded with a Razor® scooter.

The seven children were randomly selected as Savings Sleuths after participating in Purdue Federal’s Savings Sleuth contest. To enter the contest accountholders earned one drawing entry for each $5 deposit made into their $avers & $ense Club accounts from April 1-30. Additional entries were earned after submitting completed activity sheets.

It is never too early to start children on the right financial path. Individuals interested in $avers & $ense Club youth savings accounts may stop by a Purdue Federal branch, call 765.497.3328 or 800.627.3328, or visit purduefed.com/youth.
