PSECU’s on-campus location at HACC’s Lancaster Campus now open

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was recently held to open PSECU’s latest on-campus location at HACC’s Lancaster campus.

LANCASTER, PA (April 15, 2015) — On April 6, 2015, PSECU opened a new campus location in the Main Building at HACC’s Lancaster Campus, PSECU’s 18th on-campus location. This location will provide PSECU assistance to students, faculty and staff at the college who are eligible for membership in the credit union. To complement the on-campus location, PSECU also has an ATM located in the HACC Welcome Center.

In addition to financial services, PSECU is committed to engaging with HACC’s Lancaster Campus through internship opportunities for students, financial education workshops, and promotions such as Random Acts of Freeness. PSECU’s paid on-campus internship opportunities will be available to students who are interested in gaining real-world experience in areas such as marketing and business operations. Financial education workshops will be available for members of the campus community who are interested in learning more about various areas of financial management. Additionally, PSECU will provide HACC’s Lancaster Campus with $3,000 annually for student scholarships.

A grand opening celebration took place on April 13, 2015. Dr. John Sygielski, President of HACC, and Greg Smith, President of PSECU, joined together in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new location. In addition, the event included interactive activities for students, faculty, and staff. All members of the campus community are invited to visit PSECU in the Main Building to learn more.

Opened in 1934, PSECU was founded by 22 ordinary people who made an extraordinary commitment to each other: To create a financial institution where pooled resources benefit all members. Today, we are a full-service credit union serving more than 400,000 members and have over $4 billion in assets. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our goal remains to help our members and their families achieve a better life.
