Orange County, CA - PSB Integrated Marketing’s family tree continues to grow with the addition of three new PSB babies. These new additions are the driving force behind innovative new staffing approach.

PSB’s tree first branched out with the birth of account manager Kinnari Trivedi’s daughter, Elina Trivedi on 9/20/11 at St. Jude’s Hospital in Fullerton, CA.  She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 22 inches long.

“She just beautiful” beams Trivedi. “We couldn’t be more proud of her.”

Next Molly Hervey, PSB’s Art Director, introduced us to her first child, Owen Patrick Hervey on 12/5/11 at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. He was 8 pounds, 5 ounces at birth and 20 inches. Molly has rejoined PSB full-time, using several child care options for her baby throughout the week.

“I rotate through four different family members for babysitting help every week, so I know Owen is well-cared for while I am working,” explained Hervey. “It can be a lot of details to remember, but it’s worth it. PSB pitches in by being flexible about when I need to arrive and leave to coordinate it all.”

Most recently, account manager Tara Jimenez welcomed Kira Elizabeth Jimenez to the PSB family on 1/6/12, at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. Kira was 5 pounds, 15 ounces and 18 inches in length.

Rooted in a response to the growing needs of working moms to balance their work and home lives, PSB implemented a new mommy-friendly approach to employees’ positions. Jiminez and Trivedi are job sharing their position as account managers. Both moms work part-time hours and share account management responsibilities and clients. Working together, they are exceeding the client’s expectations. In fact, the clients find that having two account managers has been an easy transition.

“We feel it's important to be flexible as we can retain our talented employees. With these big changes in their lives, we know that both women and our clients would benefit from sharing their position,” explained president Mark DeBellis. “So far the clients love it. They say it’s like having double the marketing horse power working for them.”

PSB is proud to be a family-friendly company. They believe the flexible approach to the needs of working moms and dads are imperative to supporting their philosophy of a work and family balance. PSB knows that happy employees are better employees.

“Having kids and working isn’t easy” said Jimenez. “But job sharing has really made a difference in my life. I am grateful that I can concentrate on being a mom when I need to and on my career when I am working. It’s the best of both worlds and now, both worlds are getting my best work.”

“I agree” said Trivedi. “The flexibility PSB has given me to job share is really great. Working with Tara has given me the opportunity to pursue my career while being the kind of mom I always pictured. I get to show my daughter and son that you can have it all.”
