Premier Members Credit Union intends to make paying for college easier for high school seniors seeking higher education. This year, the Premier Members Scholarship has reached $35,000.
Now thru May 1, Colorado students can apply online at pmcu.org to receive one of two $5,000 scholarships that can be applied towards a traditional four-year university, two-year college or trade school. Students may also apply for the Premier Members Scholarship from one of Premier Members Credit Union’s partner agencies. These agencies include: I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County, Hide in Plain Sight, Hope House Colorado, Realities for Children of Boulder County and Westminster Public Schools Foundation.
“We are proud to offer our annual Premier Members Scholarship to students seeking higher education,” said Andrea McDermott, Corporate Social Responsibility for Premier Members Credit Union. “We are excited to reward both traditional and non-traditional students the opportunity to pursue higher education.”
Since 2012, Premier Members Credit Union has rewarded more than $175,000 in scholarships, and provided four four-year scholarships to serve underprivileged youth. The scholarship has grown from $4,000 in 2012 to $35,000 in 2020.
