Point Breeze Credit Union names Nina Sagan VP of Human Resources

Promotion follows 5 successful years as Point Breeze’s HR Manager

HUNT VALLEY, MD (October 9, 2024)Point Breeze Credit Union named Nina Sagan Vice President of Human Resources, promoting her from her previous role of Human Resources Manager. 

 A 5-year veteran of Point Breeze, Sagan has led the Human Resources department organization-wide, covering 130 employees. 

 “Nina is a top-tier Human Resources leader who has excelled in her previous role of Human Resources Manager, and we are thrilled to see her take on this new VP role,” said Kristin Reynolds, Senior VP of Human Resources for Point Breeze. “She brings such a rich presence to the credit union, with over 5 years of leadership and results for our employees which directly impacts our members.”

 A first-generation American and naturalized citizen, Sagan advocates for greater cultural awareness across the Point Breeze community. This commitment led to her appointment as Point Breeze Credit Union’s first DEI Officer in early 2023. Since then, she has spearheaded initiatives to foster a more inclusive work environment — encouraging a safe space for discussions, inclusivity, and innovation at every level of the organization.

 In addition to over 15 years of Human Resources experience, Sagan has a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development from Towson University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from University of Maryland. An active member of her field, Sagan is a member of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association, the Baltimore-area chapter of SHRM.
