CHARLESTON, WV (June 6, 2013) Pioneer WV Federal Credit Union is very proud to announce that five (5) of their members have been awarded $1,000 college scholarships.
“We take great pride in giving back to our membership and are very excited that we can be a part of furthering education for our members with our annual scholarship contest,” said Shannon Bradley, VP of Member Experience.
The 5 scholarship recipients are:
- Anthony Petersen - attends West Virginia University – Computer Science Major
- Brooke Belmont - attends Fairmont State University – Health Administration Major
- CJ Oldham - 2013 graduate of Hurricane High School - will attend University of Tennessee – Nuclear Engineering Major
- Sam Schoolcraft – 2013 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School – will attend West Virginia University – Pharmacy Major
- Madison Messinger – 2013 graduate of Capital High School – will attend West Virginia Wesleyan – Bio-Chem Major
Madison Messinger was very excited when it was announced that she was one of the recipients, “I'm sure I can speak for all of the recipients when I say, we appreciate the commitment to education made by the officers, board members, and general membership of Pioneer Credit Union. I look forward to continuing my education next year and hope to make Pioneer Credit Union proud and confident that their investment will pay dividends.”
