Patelco Credit Union announced today that it will be partnering with Zelle to offer its members a fast, safe and easy way to send or receive money. Available in the Patelco Mobile App, members will be able to use Zelle as a quick, contactless way to send money with friends and family.
“Throughout the pandemic, we’ve seen more members rely on our online banking tools and features to manage their finances. We know it’s important for them to have a convenient and safe way to send money to friends and family without having to leave their home,” said Elaine Hamann, Patelco’s VP of Digital Delivery. “We’re excited to partner with Zelle and make it easy for our members to safely exchange funds through the pandemic and beyond.”
With digital, contactless payments more necessary than ever, Patelco’s partnership with Zelle allows members flexibility for sharing expenses, requesting payments and sending cash gifts typically in minutes between enrolled Zelle users.
