Park Community Credit Union receives top rankings by two well-respected financial rating firms. SNL Financial ranked Park Community as the 17th best-performing credit union in the United States in 2012 and BauerFinancial, Inc. awarded them a five-star rating.
Park Community Credit Union was ranked by SNL Financial as one of the top 50 best-performing credit unions in the United States in 2012 with more than $500 million in assets. Park Community was ranked 17th and was the only credit union in the state of Kentucky to make the list. In 2011, Park Community was ranked 47th on the list and was one of two credit unions listed from the state of Kentucky.
SNL ranked the best-performing credit unions for the 12-month period using six core financial performance metrics. To be included in the analysis, a credit union had to have total assets greater than $500 million as of April 18, 2012 and had to be well capitalized with a net worth ratio of at least 7.0%. The ranking was based on growth, asset quality and operating efficiency for the 12 month period ending December 31, 2012. 410 credit unions were eligible for the ranking.

The rating, which is the highest possible, indicates that BauerFinancial considers Park Community to be one of the strongest in the nation. Among the factors evaluated are capital adequacy, loan delinquency levels, asset quality, and historical trends.
