PAHO/WHO FCU ranks 5th in American Banker’s Best Credit Union to Work For®

WASHINGTON, DC (September 6, 2024)For the fourth consecutive year PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union has been named one of the American Banker’s Best Credit Unions to Work For®. The Credit Union ranked 5th overall out of the 70 credit unions recognized nationwide. PAHO/WHO FCU was recognized for building out career paths for different roles across the organization to retain existing talent and to provide growth opportunities for professionals eager to develop.

American Banker has recognized credit unions that not only demonstrate their commitment to the communities they serve, but also credit unions that excel in providing a quality workplace that meet the needs of current employees while also enticing new generations of talent. 

In total, 70 credit unions were named as Best Credit Unions to Work For. The full Best Credit Unions to Work For list is available online. The award process began with Best Companies Group reviewing employers’ benefits and workplace policies and practices, followed by extensive employee surveys. In addition to work environment, benefits and employee perks, many of this year’s winners have been recognized for how they’ve anticipated and supported employees’ needs through leadership, communication and career development.
