Kalamazoo, MI (March 17, 2025) |
OMNI Community Credit Union continues its tradition of giving back to the community, donating a total of $22,707 to three deserving nonprofits in Kalamazoo County through its OMNI Gives Back program. Kalamazoo Gospel Mission received $6,969, Talons Out Honor Flight was awarded $6,804, and Special Olympics received $8,934 to further their missions of service and support.
The OMNI Gives Back program allows members to contribute to local causes by selecting nonprofit organizations to receive donations tied to auto loans funded through the credit union. This initiative has provided vital financial support to organizations that make a direct impact on the community. This year, OMNI increased its donation amount to $25 per funded auto loan, further amplifying its community impact.
“At OMNI, we believe in strengthening the communities we serve,” said Mark Cramer, CEO and President of OMNI Community Credit Union. “These organizations provide essential services and life-changing experiences, and we are honored to support their work.”
The donations to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, Talons Out Honor Flight, and Special Olympics are part of a larger initiative that resulted in a total contribution of $28,981 to various Michigan-based nonprofits.
