NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of HFS Federal Credit Union’s new corporate headquarters building in Hilo, Hawaii.
Designed to accommodate the credit union’s rapid growth and success, the new two-story 20,155 square foot building will facilitate organizational growth in a future-proofed branded space, designed to house additional staffing needs for at least the next 15 years. Ground-level parking will be below the building, and work areas are positioned around the perimeter of each floor adjacent to large windows, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the space. In addition, several shared conference rooms, training rooms, quiet rooms, men’s and women’s showers, staff lounge, storage, and a new board room with an adjacent kitchen are included in the design layout to enhance the overall employee experience.
