New Interactive Program Unites Philosophy & Business

St. Louis, MO - Credit unions and leagues across the nation can challenge their staff and board to focus on growth with an innovative training program brought to life by a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). The “Not for Profit, But for Service” Credit Union Learning Map® is an interactive program consisting of three dynamic sessions that take participants on a journey ofexploration and end with a powerful call to action. The sessions range from two hours to a full day of instruction.

“The Learning Map® is a great tool that facilitates thought-provoking conversations on the credit union difference,” says Rudy Hanley, SchoolsFirst FCU president/CEO. “An in-depth understanding of the movement helps ensure that each decision is made for the benefit of the member.”

  • Interactive Learning Map® Rediscover credit union history and philosophy at your next meeting. Dig into the past to understand the vision for tomorrow. Groups will engage in lively discussions about the credit union difference and how it acts as a competitive advantage in the marketplace. (approximately 2 hours)
  • Planning Session & Interactive Learning Map® Add a new twist to your planning session with this interactive program. Explore credit union history and philosophy and search for treasures that create a strong foundation for the future course of action. Walk away with a solid understanding of the past and a clear direction of the future that includesgoals and objectives for next year’s journey. (half or full day)
  • Philosophy is Good Business: Staff Development Take a voyage with your staff during this full day of professional development and teambuilding exercises. Utilizing the interactive Learning Map®, your staffwill unearth the industry’s rich history and philosophy. While working in groups, your team will discover how philosophy is good business. (full day)
