New CUNA eSchool tailors compliance training to the role of HR professionals
MADISON, WI (July 16, 2014) — CUNA announced today that registration is now open for HR Compliance eSchool, an all-new eight-session program tailored to keep human resources professionals up-to-date on workplace law and better able to minimize risk. The eSchool will take place between Sept. 3 and Oct. 29, 2014. Registration and individual session details are available at cuna.org/hrcompliance.
“Human resources professionals sometimes get caught in a difficult balancing act between advocating for the employee and protecting the credit union,” commented Marlo Foltz, VP of Blended Learning. “Over the course of eight Wednesdays this fall, we’ll make sure they have the regulatory updates and compliance know-how to successfully position their credit unions and stay one step ahead in their HR roles.”
By identifying and addressing common pitfalls that can put an organization at risk, attendees of CUNA HR Compliance eSchool will ensure they are staying compliant with the latest rules and regulations as they pertain to human resources. Each session, presented by human resources expert Joe Aitchison, will introduce readily-applicable tools, tips and resources for tackling the complexities of workplace compliance while allowing attendees to get expert advice on the issues that matter most to their credit unions.
