CUNA Emerging Leader Institute will be Dec. 4-6, 2017 in San Diego. This program provides fundamental skills and insights for new credit union leaders, those who aspire to be credit union leaders and seasoned executives.
“Assuming a leadership role is a serious undertaking, especially at an institution as complex as a credit union” said Kristin Ryan, Director of Learning Events at Credit Union National Association. “With this event, the next generation of credit union leaders can start their careers off strong with a foundation of knowledge that will prepare them for the inevitable hardships they will face and current executives can keep their skills fresh in today’s changing environment.”
Over the course of three days, attendees will conduct a leadership self-assessment, discuss difficult challenges and situations that leaders see regularly and find insights into how their leadership style influences their work.
The content of CUNA Emerging Leader Institute is designed for practical use and facilitation of long-term development and advancement. In addition to young and unseasoned leaders, the institute is also suited for current leaders who want to enhance their skills and work towards a more consequential role.
