Network Box Upgrades To Triple Certification ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 & ISO 27001:2005

HOUSTON, July 31st, 2012 – Further cementing its market leadership position as Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) of choice, Network Box Corporation has upgraded to triple ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 and ISO 27001:2005 certification status.

Pierluigi Stella, Chief Technology Officer of Network Box USA commented, “This is, without question, a monumental achievement for Network Box. Now, not only do we have the latest triple ISO certification for our Security Operations Centers (SOCs), Network Box remains the only IPv6 Core Phase-2 Certified Managed Security Platform in its space.”

The ISO 9001:2008 Certification covers the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and support of all Network Box UTM devices while the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 Certification encapsulates IT service and support of all activities as detailed under the ISO 9001:2008 Certification, for all Network Box customers on a global scale.

In recognition of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard, Network Box has also successfully maintained its ISO 27001 Certification, which was first attained on February 24th, 2010.

Speaking from Network Box Corporation’s Headquarters in Hong Kong, Mark Webb-Johnson, CTO, added, “Network Box believes that a very large part of being ‘up to standard’ means ensuring that the security solutions in place, are installed, configured, monitored, maintained and supported to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards.”

As information security management increasingly becomes a mainstream topic of conversation; both within governments and in company board rooms across the world;  an increasing number of IT Managers find themselves needing to actively demonstrate that the IT Security solutions they have in place, for their organizations are, "up to standard."

It is simply no longer sufficient to just have the latest firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, virtual private networking, anti-malware, anti-spam, content filtering, company policy management, business continuity facilitation and automated reporting systems in place.  Someone (or more accurately, a team of experts) needs to be monitoring, managing and updating all of the aforementioned network security systems, around the clock and all year round.

Stella of Network Box USA concluded, “Security should never be ‘ad hoc’ in nature. Consistency is the cornerstone of every standard.  As a fully Managed Security Service, with management systems certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards, Network Box offers by far the best (and most economic) answer.”
