As NESC Credit Union celebrates 67 years of service, it’s pleased to announce its approval to convert to a Community Charter, expanding membership to more individuals and families in the region. This milestone allows NESC to provide the financial solutions and support that members rely on, when they need it most.
"For decades, NESC Credit Union has been here to help our members—whether they’re buying a car, saving for the future, or managing day-to-day expenses," said Johnathan Hildreth, CEO. "We're expanding so more people can enjoy the personal service NESC is known for—a local credit union that puts members first. We are excited to welcome new members and keep growing with our community!"
With this charter expansion, NESC Credit Union now serves individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in communities across Essex and Middlesex counties in Massachusetts, as well as Rockingham and Hillsborough counties in New Hampshire. New members will have access to competitive loans, convenient banking options, and the latest digital tools—along with the personal touch that sets NESC apart.
To help make this expansion happen, NESC teamed up with CUCollaborate—a CUSO that helps credit unions grow and make a bigger impact. “NESC Credit Union’s expansion is a testament to its vision and leadership,” said Sam Brownell, CEO of CUCollaborate. “It’s about reaching more people with financial products and personalized, community-driven service that sets it apart. At CUCollaborate, we’re proud to support NESC Credit Union in its ongoing efforts to serve more communities across the region."
NESC Credit Union remains committed to strengthening the community it is a part of, building lasting connections with its members, and upholding its strong commitment to service. By providing the support and resources members need, NESC continues to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals, making a meaningful impact across the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
