MyUSA Credit Union financial education program expands reach in 2021-22 school year

MyUSA Credit Union has been actively expanding its financial education efforts for adults and children this school year. More than 1,700 adults utilized the Credit Union’s online financial tools  in 2021. Meanwhile, hundreds of students at four local schools completed 765 interactive learning modules during the first half of the 2021-2022 school year.

MyUSA Credit Union’s school-based financial education program provides the training, tools and online resources teachers need to help elementary, middle and high school students learn how to manage their money successfully throughout life. In addition to the four active schools utilizing the program, ten more local schools have committed to offering the program to their students and are currently undergoing training and pre-launch preparations.
“As educators across the state gear up for Ohio’s new high school financial literacy requirements, our commitment to providing access to financial education training, tools and resources is more important than ever,” says Kendrick Walker, Vice President of Marketing for MyUSA Credit Union.
The Credit Union plans to continue expanding its reach with financial education programs in all of the areas it serves, including Butler, Clark, Green, Miami, Montgomery, and Warren counties.
