On June 28th, 2022, Fadrian Merrell, the Branch Manager of Mountain Credit Union in Waynesville, NC, graduated from the Leadership Haywood program. Leadership Haywood is one of the most respected programs in Haywood County.
In September 2021, The Haywood Chamber of Commerce selected Fadrian to participate in the 9-month program to learn the function and importance of vital organizations in Haywood County. Through this program, Fadrian met with local business leaders and people in Haywood County. The unique opportunity allowed Fadrian to delve into the county’s critical, relevant issues.
Fadrian shared, “I enjoyed connecting and networking with local leaders in Haywood County. I am looking forward to making a positive impact in the growing community I call home. I am very thankful for the opportunity.”
Leadership Haywood aims to cultivate and emerge established community leaders who have dedicated themselves to continual professional development and making Haywood County a better place to work, live, and play. The Haywood Chamber of Commerce provides this program annually to employees of local public, private, and non-profit organizations.
