First Community Credit Union (FirstCCU) is pleased to announce Mike Pogorelec has been appointed to the Stateline Boys & Girls Club’s Board of Directors.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the Stateline Boys and Girls Club,” said Pogorelec. “The Boys and Girls Club carries out a mission that offers positive experiences and opportunities to kids in our communities. As a coach for over 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with kids and families of all different backgrounds. Watching those kids grow as individuals and achieve their goals has been immensely rewarding. I’m eager to contribute to the clubs effort of making a positive impact in the Stateline area.”
Pogorelec serves as Vice President of Lending at First Community Credit Union. Pogorelec has over 16 years of management experience, with 11 years in the finance industry. Mike’s journey began as a Mortgage Loan Officer at a community bank, which led to a career of developing and managing departments at multiple credit unions.
Pogorelec graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance from Marian University in Fond Du Lac, WI. Mike and his wife have four children ranging from ages 7 to 11. They currently reside in Beaver Dam, WI. Mike has coached hockey for 20 years and currently works with the girls program for the Madison Capitols. He is passionate about coaching and helping players achieve their goals of playing in college. In his free time, he also enjoys playing golf and cheering on the New York Mets and Green Bay Packers.
