Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union promotes Deborah Fahrney to Vice President of Retail Services

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (November 6, 2013) — Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Deborah Fahrney to Vice President of Retail Services. Fahrney has been a Regional Director at MSGCU since 2010 and has over 20 years of experience in retail financial services.

“I could not think of a better fit for this position than Debbie,” said Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union President and CEO Peter Gates. “She has been a critical piece of the puzzle in MSGCU’s growth and we look forward to her role in our future success.”

Prior to MSGCU, Fahrney held leadership roles with Comerica Bank, Huntington Bank and LaSalle Bank, as well as an executive leadership role with Warren Bank. She holds an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and obtained her MBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
