MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) took National Intern Day to a new level today. The day’s activities at its 311 Abbot Road location included presentations, a service project, Office Olympics, and a CliftonStrengths session for its 27 summer session interns.
“We are delighted to celebrate National Intern Day and showcase the immense talent and dedication of our interns,” said Chelsea Schaberg, Vice President of Human Resources at MSUFCU.
MSUFCU’s internship program is designed to support individuals in gaining professional experience and exploring their career interests. Interns contribute to real business needs and are supported through mentorship, diverse opportunities, and a culture of belonging.
“By providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and a supportive environment, we aim to equip our interns with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their future careers,” Schaberg said. “Additionally, this program is integral to MSUFCU’s goal of fostering professional growth and development.”
The program highlights MSUFCU’s innovative approach to talent development. During the 13-week summer session, interns worked in the accounting, financial education, human resources, and DEIB departments, among others.
“As an MSUFCU intern, I’ve had the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and receive guidance from experienced professionals,” said Harmony Hall, Corporate Communications Intern. “The support and mentorship I’ve received have been invaluable in shaping my career path.”
