Members 1st Federal Credit Union is thrilled to announce that it was recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2024 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. In addition to a survey of more than 35,000 U.S. consumers and millions of app store and social media reviews, this study analyzed all aspects of each credit union and regional bank – from financial stability and profitability to press coverage.
“Regional banks and credit unions play a pivotal role in the financial fabric of communities nationwide. Unlike their larger counterparts, these institutions are deeply rooted in local economies, understanding the unique needs of the people they serve. In an era where digital advancements can overshadow personalized service, regional banks and credit unions stand out for their customer-centric financial services,” said Nancy Cooper, Global Editor-in-Chief of Newsweek.
Of the approximately 9,440 financial institutions considered for this award, only 500 (250 credit unions and 250 regional banks) earned this designation. Only 75 credit unions, including Members 1st, received a five-star review.
“We are truly honored to receive this recognition from Newsweek as one of America’s best credit unions. Our number one priority has always been serving our members, businesses and communities across our footprint,” said Chad Adams, Chief Relationship Officer at Members 1st. “We are hopeful this recognition will shine a light on our associates who consistently go above and beyond so that we may continue to help even more individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.”
