Members 1st Charitable Foundation announces first funding cycle grant recipients of 2025

The Members 1st Charitable Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its  first funding cycle of grants for 2025. As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local  communities, the Foundation has awarded $50,000 in grant funding to 10 nonprofits that align with  its mission of making stronger, healthier and more financially sound organizations.  

"We believe deeply in the power of community and the importance of giving back," said Sara  Firestone, Executive Director of the Members 1st Charitable Foundation. "These grants reflect our  dedication to supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and  families throughout the regions we serve. We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to  seeing the positive changes these organizations will bring to our communities." 

The following organizations have been selected to receive grants for the first funding cycle of 2025: 

  • 3P Ride, Inc. – York County, PA 
  • All In Theatre – Dauphin County, PA 
  • Boys & Girls Club of Allentown – Lehigh County, PA 
  • Cancer Support Community of the Lehigh Valley – Lehigh County, PA 
  • Chasing the Rainbows – York County, PA 
  • Compeer of Lebanon County – Lebanon County, PA 
  • LHM Hospice & Social Services Foundation – Dauphin County, PA 
  • Lykens Valley Children Museum – Dauphin County, PA  
  • Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development – Lancaster County, PA 
  • Thrive Ministry, Inc. – York County, PA 

These grant recipients were chosen based on their commitment to financial literacy, economic  empowerment, youth development and community enrichment. New this year, the Foundation will  host a special breakfast at its headquarters to honor the grantees. This event will provide an  opportunity for nonprofit leaders to network with one another, meet the Foundation board members and share insights about their organizations and missions. 

The Foundation provides funding four times a year to eligible nonprofit organizations that serve as a  catalyst for making a positive difference in their local communities. Since its inception, the  Foundation has invested more than $500,000 back into the communities of its 11-county footprint.
