Marine Credit Union announces strategic leadership transition

Marine Credit Union is pleased to announce a strategic leadership transition designed to ensure continued growth and stability. Tom Knothe has been appointed as the new President and CEO, effective January 2025. Tom succeeds Darrick Weeks, who will become the next President and CEO of Purdue Federal Credit Union in January 2025.

Strategic Leadership Transition

Tom Knothe, a long-standing member of the Marine Credit Union Board of Directors, brings over 16 years of experience with the credit union, including serving as interim CEO in 2021. His extensive experience and deep understanding of Marine Credit Union’s mission and values make him the ideal leader to guide the organization into its next chapter.

“The Board of Directors is excited to announce this leadership transition,” said Anne Snow, Board Chair. “Tom’s commitment to our mission and his proven leadership within the credit union industry ensure a seamless transition and continued focus on strategic growth.”
