United Teletech Financial donates $18,000 as part of Community Challenge
(TINTON FALLS, N.J.) – Four charities will receive donations from United Teletech Financial (UTF) for their participation in UTF’s Million Dollar Community Challenge (MDCC). Charities involved include The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex Counties, Clean Ocean Action and The Salvation Army – Red Bank Corps.
“The charities in our community make such a difference for all of us. I think there is no time more evident of that impact than now. Knowing UTF’s contributions to these charities have helped impact our communities in a time of such great need reaffirms our commitment to community and to helping others,” Leo R. Ardine, President/CEO of UTF, said.
UTF’s MDCC is an annual campaign that strives to save the community $1 million in interest expense, while benefiting local charities. This year’s campaign saved members more than $1.8 million in interest expense. Charities will receive more than $18,000 in donations from UTF.
“The Million Dollar Community Challenge was really well received in our community and by our members because it epitomizes our core tenant of helping people achieve financial stability, but we’re also able to give back to the community. And that’s just really a powerful thing to have involvement in – as a business, a member and as a community,” Ardine said.
