LEVERAGE signs deal for Virginia Credit Union League to Utilize Office Depot National Buying Program

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. /TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 18, 2012LEVERAGE, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) Service Corporation, recently entered into an agreement with the Virginia Credit Union League (VCUL) that would allow the league to participate in the Office Depot Business Services Division (BSD) Program.

Through collaborative purchasing power, the Office Depot program maximizes the ability for credit unions to gain greater discounts on more products than just office supplies, but machine supplies, paper, furniture, technology, custom stationery, digital printing, promotional products, break room products, and more.

“We believe the Office Depot program offered through LEVERAGE will have cost savings for our member credit unions,” said VCUL Executive Vice President Terry Childress. “The program seems to be simple and easy to implement. We look forward to working with both companies in making sure our credit unions get the best prices and service available to them from Office Depot.”

Through the program’s discounted pricing, credit unions can save up to 70 percent off Office Depot’s catalog list price. There are now more than 1,100 credit unions using the program nationwide.
