LEVERAGE consolidates audit services forming CU Audit & Compliance Group (CUACG)
BIRMINGHAM, AL & TALLAHASSEE, FL, (October 29, 2014) — LEVERAGE, a wholly owned affiliate of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates, announces the consolidation of its two audit service companies, CU Audit & Compliance Group (CUACG) and LEVERAGE’s Audit & Compliance Group. The consolidated companies will take the CU Audit & Compliance Group (CUACG) name forming the largest credit union audit and compliance firm in the southeast region with remote auditors located in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.
The consolidation, which was effective on Oct. 1, reduces any confusion among audit clients through a single standardized name. CUACG will continue to offer services such as: Supervisory Committee audits, Verification of Member Accounts, ACH audits, BSA audits, assist with Opinion audits, and OFAC Assessments. Also, from a tax perspective, CUACG is able to assist with 990 preparation and strategic tax planning. CUACG auditors can also help credit unions file 5300 Call Report Data.
