LCUL launches ‘No Credit Union Left Behind’ store to garner support

HARAHAN, LA (June 4, 2024) — Credit unions with assets less than $50 million are defined by NCUA as a small credit union; 48% of America’s credit unions live inside this parameter.

Louisiana Credit Union League (LCUL) President/CEO, Juan Fernandez, shared the phrase ‘No Credit Union Left Behind’ during a national conference panel discussion, to emphasize the important task of creating opportunities for all credit unions to thrive.

“As the initiative that no credit union should be left behind grows, we want to amplify the significant role that small credit unions play in the credit union movement and ensure that every credit union – no matter the size- has the tools they need to thrive and deliver for their communities,” stated Fernandez.

To magnify the collaborative voices of ‘No Credit Union Left Behind,’ the Louisiana Credit Union Foundation has created a small, but mighty, ensemble of apparel to allow everyone to wear their support. Proceeds from the sales will benefit the Louisiana Credit Union Foundation.

Items are available for pre order through June 30th with an expected ship date of mid-July. Orders have two delivery options, shipping or pick up at LCUL’s Convention.
