GRAND RAPIDS, MI (October 7, 2013) -- Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce the hiring of Spencer Klukowski as a personal line insurance sales representative for Lake Michigan Insurance Agency (LMIA).
Klukowski earned his bachelor’s degree at Northwood University in 2010, with a triple major - marketing, accounting and management. His previous employment includes Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, a large insurance brokerage and risk management firm.
Steve Bush, president of LMCU’s Lake Michigan Financial Group, is excited to have Klukowski on the Lake Michigan Insurance Agency team. “Spencer's experience and character are a perfect match with LMIA’s culture and goals. I’m eager to watch his progress as he works with clients to find the best insurance options available through our agency.”
Klukowski cites LMCU’s corporate culture of commitment to member service as a satisfying match for his own professional philosophy. “Though professional colleagues and contacts, I’d been hearing great things about LMCU for years. I was immediately drawn to this company and this position, and I look forward to working with its impressive suite of products and services.”
Born and raised in Rockford, MI, Klukowski has assisted in coaching the Rockford High School freshman football team and is active in the STRIVE mentoring program with the Rockford Rotary Club.
