ROCHESTER, MN― Kelly McDonough, President/CEO of First Alliance Credit Union was honored by Finance & Commerce as a 2012 Top Woman in Finance. Finance and Commerce honored high achievement women across the state of Minnesota at its 12th annual Top Women in Finance awards program on November 1.
The awards recognize the outstanding efforts of women who are making notable contributions to their professions, their communities and society at large.
Since coming to First Alliance Credit Union in 2003 McDonough has forged a management team that is committed, engaged and dedicated to the credit union philosophy of “People helping People.” During her eight year tenure, credit union assets have grown from $78 million to $128 million, added its third branch location, and purchased two sites for future expansion.
McDonough is on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Credit Union Network. She serves on the Political Involvement Committee and the Audit Committee of that Board.
McDonough is also on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Olmsted County. She is co-chair of the Senior Leadership Delegation, a member of the audit committee, and is on the Women’s Leadership Council.
