MADISON, WI (June 18, 2013) Summit Credit Union has named Joanne Belanger as its senior vice president – marketing.
Belanger has more than 18 years of experience in the marketing and branding industry, both stateside and in Canada. Prior to joining Summit, Belanger was associate marketing director at Bissell Homecare, Inc., in Grand Rapids, Mich. She has also held marketing, branding and innovation leadership roles at Stokke, Kimberly-Clark and Whirlpool Corporation.
She holds an MBA in strategy, marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago – Graduate School of Business, and a bachelor of commerce degree in marketing and international business from the University of Ottawa.
Belanger grew up in Ontario, Canada, and has recently relocated to Madison with her husband and two energetic boys. She has been a member of credit unions her whole life.
