Jill Tomalin named Deputy Chief of Staff for Credit Union National Association

MADISON, WI (December 17, 2014) — Jill Tomalin has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). In addition to her current duties in serving as Chief Operating Officer, in this newly created role she will advise CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle and Chief of Staff Rich Meade in leading and managing all operations of CUNA.

“Jill’s promotion is a clear sign that our trade association’s Washington and Madison operations are in sync and complement one another,” said Nussle. “I want the strongest team possible here at CUNA – and placing Jill in this leadership role assures we are building the strongest possible team.”

Tomalin joined CUNA in 2000 as director of educational resources, Center for Professional Development. She was promoted to vice president of that department in 2002 and later promoted to senior vice president, Association Services in 2003. Tomalin was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2013. Prior to joining CUNA, Tomalin served in management roles for the Credit Union Executives Society and the Texas Credit Union League. She earned an MBA and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
