MIAMI LAKES, FL (June 10, 2013) JetStream Federal Credit Union was one of the table sponsors of the Doral Business Council’s Women’s Alliance Luncheon held at the beautiful Don Shula’s Hotel in Miami Lakes. The event raised funds for Dress for Success-Miami. Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Guest speaker, Donna Abood, chairman of Colliers International spoke about the changing roles of women in the 21st century. “This was a wonderful opportunity for JetStream Federal to support the courageous women in our community. Dress for Success is a great organization that helps local women gain skills to help them succeed professionally and personally”, stated Mara Falero, vice president of marketing.
